Bio:
I was born in Mount Isa, Queensland but moved to Melbourne, Victoria when I was a nipper four years old. My brother Jack is three years older and is living with his sheila in Canberra and my sister Madeleine is just a year younger and lives just outside of Sydney. I love sports, especially Aussie Rules, but I enjoy American baseball (my cousin Trent, plays in the states for the Anaheim Angels farm system). When I was younger, I played softball and volleyball. I love sailing and hope to own my own sail boat sometime in the future. I've never married nor am I in a relationship at the moment, my last boyfriend was a Kiwi but we called it quits when I went to the states for a few weeks. I would love to meet a fella to settle down with and raise a family. Jack has a steady named Sarah, she's from Sydney but teaches a class on aboriginal art at the uni in Canberra, my alma mater. Madeleine has a steady named Nigel. I am currently working in communications, actually in public relations, for a media company here in Melbourne. Its fun but I would like to move into their journalism and/or broadcast journalism departments. I do have some acting experience, (my father is a telly producer) mostly guest spots and extra work, nothing significant though. Got loads of pictures that make me look stunning (my mother's a photographer for Vogue) though. I attended The Australian National University in Canberra and graduated in 1999 with a degree in international relations. I spent a semester overseas during my junior year and attended the University of Southern California in the states. This was a fun time, I met Americans for the first time in my life that were not tourists! I also got a chance to spend time with a bloody great fella named Robert. He is so sweet and has a mystique about him that is really sexy. We met a about a year before when he was in New Zealand. It was our first visit to the land of Kiwis and we met through mutual friends; we've been close ever since. I don't plan on pursuing any further educational degrees but you never know! If you would like to speak a little Strine, here are some bits to familiarize yourself with... "I'm drier than a dead dingo's donger" means that you are really thirsty. when you say "bloody" something, you are saying it is very very something. "Bloke" or "fella" are terms for men, "sheila" is a term for women. when its windy, you may hear "Blow a blue dog off its chain". when something is done, you may say "Done like a dogs dinner". "I've seen better heads on a glass of beer" is used as an insult. You "make eyes with" someone that's cute and interesting. when you've had one too many drinks at the pub you are "pissed". |
